Customized sessions that blend the approaches of yoga therapy, integrative hypnosis, and energy healing as a doorway into your inner self. Experience gentle guidance back to your body, breath, and inner knowing. Through a spacious and heart-centered conversation, we tune into whatever you’re holding with kindness and curiosity. Yoga Therapy


Yoga therapy is an evidence-based, mind-body approach to help you breathe, move, and feel better through guided self-inquiry, somatic mindful movement, and breathwork.

The main difference between a yoga class and yoga therapy, is that yoga therapy is fully dedicated to your well-being and the context of you, and not about practicing a particular style or tradition of yoga.

Poses and breathwork most likely will be deconstructed or practiced in a different way for therapeutic purposes, for example, to cultivate self-inquiry, foster self-connection, alleviate digestion, decrease anxiety, reduce pain, and so on.

Yoga therapy is accessible, highly adaptable, and inclusive. No experience is required. Even clients with cancer, stroke, partial paralysis, chronic pain, and degenerative disease benefit. It can be adapted to whatever you need it to be: to rest, to nourish, to connect, to release, to empower, and/or to tap into your abundant inner resources for wellness.

If a given style of yoga is a sit-down restaurant offering a pre-planned set menu, you can think of yoga therapy as bespoke catering for your home. A selection of offerings is presented to you, designed specifically to meet your taste, and suited to your occasion. Yoga and yoga therapy serve different purposes, but both have their place.

Yoga Therapy

In this state, our logical, judging brain that works so hard in our waking hours gets to rest. Instead of running in the foreground, it turns down and runs in the background. We’re awake, but not alert. Relaxed, but not asleep.

When this happens, our imaginative and creative states, states that are sometimes neglected due to the demands, stress, and responsibilities of modern living, get to come out and play.

The experience is much like a guided meditation, but with a pre-identified purpose. This purpose is something that you identify as important, and what we go over in detail together – for example: a mindset/emotional shift, behavioral change, a goal, or a problem, that you’d like to address with ease. We co-create this journey together, so that you are guided in way that feels safe and supportive for you.

"Integrative hypnosis" is hypnosis, elevated and integrated with what we know from neuroscience and mindfulness. I also pull the most suitable techniques from yoga therapy and energy healing, to make this process all the more effective.

Integrative hypnosis expands possibilities for new perspectives and addressing life challenges with new solutions that you yourself uncover. It opens your mind to choice, which increases self-agency in your life. You may begin to see yourself and your experiences in a different light. Energy Healing

 

Energy healing refers to the channeling of healing energy to clear energy blocks, resolve dysfunctions, and restore vitality within you. It’s a gentle, non-invasive approach that pairs well with conventional medicine, which is precise, focused, and at times, quite invasive. While energy work appears subtle, its effects cannot be underestimated.

Energy in this context refers to life force energy. Disruption in the energy prevents the body systems from working properly. By tuning into your life force, we can sense and direct it. Together, we work with your energy to ease its flow through its pathways and centers of convergence to enhance wellness. We also all have default energetic states reflected in our physical, mental, and emotional landscape. These states can help or harm. If they're no longer supportive for you, we release and create space for other states to come in.

I am trained in various types of energy modalities, including the energy systems from the yogic tradition (chakras, koshas, vayus), as well as hands-on healing, sound therapy, and tarot - as a mirror and basis for self-reflection and self-inquiry. There are many ways inward - through mindful movement, breathwork, vibration, sound, healing touch, and energy readings. 

We sense, feel, move, release, and receive. In personalized sessions, we’ll sense and tune into your energetic baseline, and use your inner faculties to shift your energetic states to better support you.

Energy is not as elusive as you may think, and over time, I hope you will be pleasantly surprised at your own abilities to attune to and shift your own energy.
